Alongside their teacher Mr. Gray, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Hutson, and industry partner Mark Dietrick of Case Technologies, high school students Nolan Wojnar and Liz Wiedeman demonstrated how bold, creative learning can connect history, technology, and community.

🌊🎨 In Mrs. Zontek’s Art Class, first graders created Underwater Scenes! Students drew the ocean floor, added sea creatures 🐡🦀🐙, traced with Sharpie, and used crayons. They loved discovering how watercolor paint resisted the crayon—making their artwork come alive! 💙✨

🎨 This week in Mrs. Zontek’s Art Class, kindergarten students explored creativity through their own scribbles!! ✏️🖍️ After listening to the story I’m Not Just a Scribble, they designed colorful scribbles using crayons and sharpies. 🖌️✨ The young artists are excited to continue their projects and look forward to painting next week!! 🎉🎨

🎓 Commencement Update: Ceremony Moved Indoors 🎓 Due to current weather conditions and an unfavorable forecast, tonight’s Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held indoors in the Junior High Gym as originally scheduled: 🕕 Friday, May 30 at 6:00 PM While we hoped to celebrate under the stars at Viking Stadium, the safety and comfort of our students, families, and guests must come first. 🎓 Class of 2025 Commencement Update 🎓 As Principal Gumbita reminds us in the letter disseminated today, flexibility is key—especially with the unpredictable weather we’ve seen this spring. 🌦️ ✅ Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM in Viking Stadium. 🎓 Our goal remains to celebrate this milestone outdoors, surrounded by as many loved ones as possible. 📣 Weather Determination Times: A decision for Friday will be made by 3:00 PM that day. If postponed, Commencement will be held Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 AM—rain or shine. If Saturday’s weather doesn’t cooperate, the ceremony will move indoors to the Junior High Gymnasium, with a final decision by 9:00 AM Saturday. 🎟️ Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for an indoor ceremony. Overflow seating and a live broadcast will be available.
