After School Study Group Bus Stops - Grades 7-12

As the District is now offering transportation home from After School Study Groups (ASSG) in grades 7-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a bus schedule has been established to get students home safely and efficiently.  Because attendance at ASSG varies greatly, individual bus stops are not feasible.  Instead, the District and DMJ Transportation have established common, centralized stops throughout the school district.  These stops are organized along 4, geographically friendly bus routes.

As mentioned above, student attendance at ASSG varies day-to-day.  Because of this, the District and DMJ may elect on any given day to combine routes.  This may result in varying times for students to be dropped off at the centralized bus stops.  The school district and DMJ will attempt to adhere to the schedule as closely as possible, but again, circumstances may necessitate a minor change in routing and arrival times daily.

During the first few weeks of ASSG busing, the District and DMJ will monitor the routes, times, and centralized stops.  We value the input from our bus drivers to help improve routing, bus stop locations, and ridership concerns. We will also seek input from students and parents regarding stop locations to better meet student needs. We thank you in advance for your patience as we look for ways to improve the system and better serve your children.

Below is a list of the bus routes and approximate stop times.  These will vary depending on the number of students in attendance each day.  Please help your child identify the correct bus and the closest bus stop to your home. Each day, students will sign-in to ASSG according to their ASSG bus number.  A copy of this roster will be provided to each driver so they are aware of who is riding that bus each day.  This will be maintained by both DMJ and MPASD for a variety of reasons including statistical, emergency, accountability, and other measures.
