Illness Exlusion
To prevent the spread of communicable disease, we recommend that you please do not send your child to school if he/she exhibits signs or symptoms of illness; fever of 100 degrees or above, rash, eye inflammation, persistent abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat, etc. The student is to be fever free for a 24 hour period without use of Tylenol or Motrin to control fever. Students with a fever of 100 degrees or above will be sent home to prevent the spread of disease. Students will be granted an excused absence the day they are sent home. Parents/guardians will be asked to present an excuse for the following day(s) absent from school. If you have questions or not sure if you should keep your child home, please contact the nurse at your school for recommendations.
