Under provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act [20 USC § 6311 (h) (6) (A)], parents of students in District Title I buildings may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child’s teacher. The information is limited to:
§ Whether the teacher has met state licensing criteria for the grade level(s) and subject areas taught.
§ Whether any teacher is on emergency or provisional certification.
§ The undergraduate/graduate degree major of the teacher and the field of discipline of the certification or degree.
Parents of students involved in the Title Program at Donegal, Norvelt, Ramsay or Rumbaugh Elementary Schools who are interested in obtaining such information must send a written request to:
